Jiangmen Wuyi Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital (formerly
known as Jiangmen Traditional Chinese Medicine Hospital), established
in 1958, has become a comprehensive hospital integrating medical treatment,

covers an area of 77,000 square meters with a floor area of 73,000

sections and 55 outpatient sections with fine medical functions and
complete facilities for many fields and diseases, specializing in
Chinese medicine, as well as medical and technical sections and offices
including radiology section, clinical laboratories, functional departments
and pathological departments, of which, one is a state-level traditional
Chinese medicine key department (TCM encephalopathy section ), two
are state-level TCM key cooperation departments (respiratory disease
department, ophthalmonogy department), three are provincial-level
TCM key departments (department of traumatology &orthopedics,
department of anus intestine surgery, departmeent of ophthalmonogy)
and six are municipal-level TCM key sections ( neurology, acupuncture
moxibustion & physical therapy, TCM gynecology, Nephrology angiocardiology,
oncolog). There is in addition a branch in Enping and two outpatient
service clinics outside the hospital.
This hospital attaches great importance to the introduction and training
of talented technicians. It has over 120 people with senior titles,
accounting for 36% of the hospital¡¯s healthcare technicians.
This hospital is equipped with advanced and complete facilities and
means for medical treatment and diagnosis, including high intensity
focused ultrasonic treating system¡°HIFU¡±, nuclear magnetic resonance,
6-slice spiral CT, digital subtraction angiography (DSA), digital
X-ray machines, blood analyzing systems, cavascopes, sightglasses
and a central monitoring system in addition to a large number of other

cardiac and vascular intervention, minimally invasive tumor intervention,
renal transplantation, complicated neck bertebra reforger, broken
arm (finger) transplantation and reforger, radical cure of ampulla

difficult operations. In 2007, the hospital treated 730,000 outpatients,
